someone started perfmon counters and just left it without stopping it. though it has been stopped we need to find who and when was this done..any suggestions |

perfmon counters do not put much load on the resources. Not sure but try checking event viewer. |

I run perfmon 24/7But not from the SQL Server. I run it remotely.If it is running locally, open task manager and see what account it's running under. |
