you need to open the management studio, connect to server, right click on databases and select restore database, then select option from device and browse to file on your computer and click ok. it should attach the db to server and on refreshing you should be able to explore it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/

Thank you. I don't have management studio. What's the best way to get it? I see Microsoft makes it -- Management Studio Express -- is that the one I want?Fred

visakh16 you need to open the management studio, connect to server, right click on databases and select restore databaseSorry ,I thought that the correct is using attache DB instead of restore one ,is it correct? But you need also to change the permission of the folder you download in to add the network service users full control
