| Hello All,I have transactional replication setup between SQL 2005 SP2 (publisher) and SQL 2008 R2 (subscriber). These publisher and subscribers are connected via VPN. Every 2 weeks I get this message saying 'The initial snapshot for the article is not yet available' and the data doesn't synchronize going forward. I have no other option than reinitialize the data. Can anyone tell me why is this happening? Also can I avoid re snapshot as the tables very big. Is there a way I could just restart the distribution agent and it can catch up on the replication instead of full snapshot?Please please let me know. This is happening for a while now.Thanks in advance, |
