| I have two SQL Server Instances. One was created on the servers C drive and the other was created on the D drive. The second one should not have been created on my D drive. I have backed up my applications database and set out to remove just the one instance, but I can't figure out how to do it. I can't afford to mess up my other instance on the C drive. When I look under services, I see both instances, but obviously can't remove it from there. When I look under Programs and Features, to try to remove the one instance, I only see info for SQL Server (it doesn't reference either instance). When I run the SQL Server installation, I don't see where to go to do what I want...although I might be the problem here.I am in a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition (64-bit) Service Pack 1.Any help is appreciated. |
