Hi
I am very new to SQL Server.
We have issues with stored procedures and deadlocks in our production.
My manager wants me to run Perfmon and replay the traces from the production, in the Development server.
He wants to run new traces while replaying the old trace files and get that data also along with the Perfmon to generate a baseline report.
I am trying to create a new trace file while replaying the old ones but i am not able to get any information except the existing connections and login info and file size is also very small.
Its a development system and i am the only admin connected to it.
We are using SQL Server 2000.
Is it possible to get information on the new trace while replaying the old trace files ?
Is there any specific way of doing it ?
