Trying to Export a database into Excel to a location on the network. The local machine (sql server) does not have excel installed. The location on the network does. I get the following error in the import/export wizard when I choose the destination location. The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. (System.Data)Does that mean I need to have Excel loaded on the local machine? Is there anyway around this?10Dawg |

no way other than installing ACE provider on local machineif you've control over excel, open and try saving it in compatibility mode (.xls) and then try with JET provider------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |
