| Hi,i m trying to restore a database but it is giving me an error saying "The filename"\" is invalid as a backup device name.Reissue the backup statement"...I m using SQL Server 2000 n m trying to restore through enterprise manager...Please reply as early as possible...i m in middle of my project.... |

| Looks like you haven't correctly selected a file. Try using T-SQL rather than enterprise manager, it'll be clearer what you're doing.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
