Hi my MSDB and some of my SharePoint DB's flaged as "Suspect" , I fixed the problem on other databases with some stored procedure which I found on the web but I couldnt do anything for MSDB. as my log file's size going HUGE, what can I do to repair or restore it? |

Restore from backup.And once you're done, investigate the root cause. Databases don't go suspect for no reason.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |

the issue was for recovery of the operating syetem, and I cant recover it the restore database option is gray. |

Open up books online and read over the section on restoring the system databases. It's not as simple as restoring user databases.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |

If I understand is the issue of MSDB database goes in suspect mode is due to the operating system ?Sr Sql server DBA/Artitech |

My SQL server is 2005 sp3I uninstalled and installed SQL server, but the log files are remains an issue.whenever I start SQL server, log files creat continiously and their size growth unlimitedly. what can i do for it? |

Same O/P, so assuming same issue its MSDB, which will be in SIMPLE Recovery Model, won't it? (I'll probably now find that my useless memory has mis-remembered that ...) |
