 How to remove schema permission

Greetings to all:
We have given a user read/write permission under schema of a database. However, we are unable to uncheck the permissions from the user. Need help on how to remove the permission. Thank you in advance.

Sounds like you made then the schema owner...change the owner to dbo, the remove them

I'm guessing you used SSMS GUI

Script out the User using the same SSMS
