| I was told to make a local copy of my db to permit backups. Please tell me exactly what a 'Local Copy' is. I have db backups in my maintenance plan. I also copy to a test db.Thanks for any assistance. |

| Thanks for responding. Upon further inquiry, he was referring to the maintenance plan db backup file I already create so that he can set the Tivoli to back that up to a different location. |

| So essentially the idea is just to make a backup of the backup offsite. Sounds like a DRP strategy to me.Steve |
