Hi,
Here i have a doubt,

[ select * from table where column *= values ]

what is the use of *= in where clause. how it wil work.

Its not T-SQL, its Oracle I think, but as for what it does, it enforces a join condition (in this case I think a left join).

[select * from table, table2 where table.column *= table2.column]
This is old T-SQL join syntax and it is no longer supported in SQL Server since version 2005.

even for clarity sake, better to use left ,right join etc instead of *= and =* in earlier versions also
