| Hi -- When I ask for an execution plan, I see a hilighted "missing index" line. If I hold my mouse over that, a box appears with a CREATE INDEX statement that would build the missing index. How can I copy that suggested CREATE INDEX statement to the clipboard or a new query so that I can work with it? |

| Right click -> Missing Index Detailsp.s. It's a suggestion, not a directive. Don't assume that the suggested index is correct, ideal or necessary. It may be none of those.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |

If you right click and select the "Missing Index Details", you should be able to copy it. |
