I am a beginner in sql server,just want to know about basic sql server 2005 certification.

They've been retired. You can't write SQL 2005 certifications any longer.

There's a note on that page about the SQL Server 2012 certification exams. If you get certified in SQL 2008 there will be an upgrade path to 2012. If you're not planning on getting certified for another 12 months you may want to wait for the 2012 exams.
