| Hi all,I'm building an SQL database and I want to store Ms word documents.I tried to do it with TEXT columns, but I couldn't insert the documents, so I tried it with BLOB and it works. Now I need to replace some words in the database in the BLOB column.. but I haven't accomplished it so far.I need to display the contents of ms word database documents in a jsp page. But regarding the encodings and character like 'ñ' and 'u', the only way I found was reading from the database blob into java and from here to a word document and afterwards from the word document with poi word extractor to jsp..A lot of work... Please can you help me with this?Regards |

| Somehow now it's working with text columns and I don't need the neither blob nor the poi extractor. I changed meta to utf8, saved doc file in a txt as utf8 and now it's working |
