Hi, I'm currently working through 70-433.In Chapter 2 there's an exercise where CREATE DATABASE SALESI've created the database and that's fine. Where is this database 'SALES'?Other databases are seen in 'Object Explorer' such as 'Northwind'. Why doesn't 'SALES' appear in 'Object Explorer'?Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I'm new sql 2008.thanksJohn

I think there might be some sort of refresh issue. At the end of chapter 2 you run a script to remove 'SALES' database. This time when I created 'SALES', it appeared straight away in 'Object Explorer'.Thanks for the reply

Object explorer does not auto-refresh. No need to disconnect and reconnect. Just right click the server and chose refresh.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP
