| Hey all,I have just started using SSRS and I understand it quiet well. I would like to know about the usage of Report Builder 3.0. How far is it different in creation of reports between SSRS and Report Builder 3.0? Which one is better? Also, can I make use of the existing .rdl files created in SSRS in Report Builder? Thanks! :)-Bala |

| Report Bulider is used to develop adhoc reports and mainly ment for non technical peoples.Report Builder(subset of BIDS) also does the same as BIDS ,but posses les functionalites than BIDS.The design layout gets differed in both.ya very well you can use/modify the reports in Report Builder which are already developed in BIDS.BIDS is better when compared to Report Builder to create complex reports.SMK :) |
