Hi allI've set up a web application in Visual studio that look to an sql 2008 r2 database (express edition) and the data it relies on runs nightly extracting the data from another system and saving a text file in a location say; c:/cris3/stats... I would like my sql database to look in that folder for the text file, when it sees it is there is then appends it into an existing table. This would save my clients from performing and statistic running. I'd appreciate any advice you have on completing this; i had a feeling maybe the integration services were the way to go but they dont seem to be avaialble in the express edition i have :( very new to sql please help a rookie :)Cheers all  Thanks so muchDave B |
