| What do you look for when you look at "scan count", "logical reads", "physical reads" etc.? Lower numbers? Do you look at all of them, or are some not very illuminating?I thought this might be a way I could try to see if parts of my query (script? file? I still don't know the jargon) are inefficient. I tried looking at Estimated Execution Plans but was denied permission (and I don't blame the IT guys). Am I on the right track?Thanks, as always! |
