| hi i m having 5 dimension tables in my data model..so i want to load this 5 table based on scd1 or scd2 type..here i want to populate batch id in 5 tables..so i want to fetch max(batch_id)+1 ..if i run my package same batchid will load in all this 5 tables(whether that is update or insert)..so i plan to write proceudre or trigger..which one is better to populate batch_id in all 5 table..if i write trigger i want to write after update and after insert ..in stored procedure how to do this...anand |
