I have installed SQL Server 2008 R2 Express. It is set to automatic start in services. But when I start computer, it doesn't start automatically. I have installed SQL Server 2008 R2 Express SP1 as well. It can be started manually though.

Check the application log in event viewer, it must be failing to start at startup. I can't explain why it will startup manually, but hopefully the applog clears it up.

I see application login and I see an error listed there: Report Server Windows Service (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database.

That error is there because the SQL Server service didn't start. You'll need to find why the SQL Server service didn't start. Check both the AppLog and the SecurityLog.
