Is there a good document on UPloading to Staging Tables on SQL SERVER database.

Since there are MANY ways to do this, are you asking for a method or how to accomplish a specific method

I, personally, would use bcp or BULK INSERT

there are lots of solutions
like using T-sql script,ssis package,openrowset, etc in addition to what Brett suggested. Perhaps you could give us a bigger picture so as to suggest best methodology to adopt for your scenario
