| Hello everyone,First time poster here. I'm a information systems major trying to make a database for my fraternity to maintain grades, classes, and house points etc. However, thinking back on my education, never have we been taught how to set up a server to host the database (or creating a local database existing on a single computer.This may be a dumb question, but it shows that educators in this field need to rethink the curriculum. But yes, My question is: How do you set up an operating server (or set up locally) for a database to be modified by MySQL or SQLdeveloper? |
