| I have a MS-SQL server running is it possible to make a update trigger to copy the updated records to a ODBC connection. I need both db's (MS-SQL and PGSQL)to mirror as close to realtime as possible.basically I need to copy the lat, long, unit, time from the MS to the PG database as soon as its updated. |

| You might try using a linked server to pgsql and then try to use a trigger to do the insert using 4 part naming convention. If that isn't an option you could try open query. Final option would be a job that runs frequently or message queuing.Mike"oh, that monkey is going to pay" |
