| Dear All,I have DB, When I am trying to insert any record I am getting following error.Can anybody please tell me how resolve this issue ?Error:"Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.tb_lcr_act_log' in database 'ABC' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup."Thanks and Regard'sHarish Patil |

| You're out of space for your database. First, see if you're truly out of disk space or your database has grown to it's maximum allowable size. If it's just the maximum allowable size, increase it and then evaluate what your true max size can be and configure autogrowth. Do some more reading online regarding best practices for autogrowth. If there is truly no more space left on the actual disk your database resides on then you need to delete some records (think carefully about this one) or add more space to the disk which contains your primary FG. You could also add a new file group and move some of your larger tables to that new file group.Mike"oh, that monkey is going to pay" |

| looks like your log file has grown. Backup the log and truncate it and then see if disk in which it resides have enough space. Also make sure you dont have any large transactions running which fills it up again.
