First i'll apologize for not being able to put sample data or specific structures up as i'm not in my office yet.

I have a table with source data that i need to compare to a table that was created from that data. I need to verify that the data in certain columns remained "lined up" with one another in the conversion. What i need to do is, for example, in the source data table, compare the columns ECSOID, FNAME, LNAME, MNAME to the same columns in the converted data and ensure that, in the source data, the ECSOID which corresponds to the LName, Fname, and Mname corresponds to the same matches in the converted table. So, essentially, it would be in t1, ECSOID=FNAME=LNAME=MNAME and that this matches with the same ECSOID in the converted table. I need to compare other data between the two as well, but knowing my jumping off point will cover me there.

thanks in advance

do you've a key column based on which you identify a row in both tables ie their primary key?

sorry but this is included among compared columns list in last post. so using what column value you determine which rows are to be compared?

Can you post some sample data and explain your requirement?
