Can anyone tell me where I can learn more about the following phrase:

Ex.

[[[ Choose order type. | SELECT OrderTypeID, Description FROM tblOrderTypes ]]]

P.S. I am constrained to working inside our company's vendor's envronment to write my queries, and am unsure of the above is a function of MSSQL or an outside envronment.

Thanks,
Dan

This is part of our vendor's software which allows end users such as myself to write queries. The vendor's application is in MSSQL. A screen shot of what I am seeing is at http://www.dallasmedicalcouriers.com/sc1021.bmp

I have no idea what the query builder in this app is. I've asked our software vendor and they've told me it is part of MSSQL.

Thanks,
Dan

It appears that to the left of | is programming code, and to the right is the T-SQL. The whole thing is not valid T-SQL, so we can't really help you except to say that it's definitely outside of MSSQL (the left part).
