| one of my procedure is taking too much time , but eventually it returns the error A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The semaphore timeout period has expired.) any help regarding this will be appreciated. |

| Where are you getting this error? In a client program? Can you post the client code? If it is happening in a client program, are you able to run the stored procedure from SQL Server Management Studio?It could be connection timeout or command timeout, but hard to say without knowing the details. |
