Find out what's causing a problem then deal with it. Either look at the query plan and optimise it or redesign so it's not a problem.Often people miss out the first step and spend a lot of time tryoing to fix things that aren't a problem.Also don't try to do too much at once. Usually there are a couple of major issues that are causing all the others. Fixing those will free up everything else.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
