do i assume correctly, that the first lines of this code make sure that there is no table called T1 ? kind of a mandatory security/quality query/statement ?furthermore: why does it say 'U' in the IF brackets ? |

U means user tableyou can make use of INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES view if you dont want to explicitly check on types as it would only have tables and views within it------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |
