| Ok here we go before I start using SQL I need to ask if I can set up a query that looks at say cell a3 all the way to the one before the last cell. I want to do this so I can add columns without having to udpate the query I know in python you can refence lists from the back I was wondering if there is anything like this for SQL?Any help would be appreciatedFergJust seen something like t end? |

| That's all i know so far what is it called in a sql database just want to know if its possible to write a query to reference the 3rd value/cell in row three to the second to last in row three.Hope this clarifies |

SQL Server isn't a spreadsheet application like excel.The answer to your question is "no".If you need something like that while working with SQL Server then maybe your approach to solve a problem is wrong. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |
