Hi all,

I have quick question about resource names and sp_getapplock.

I'm trying to get an app lock on a SQL Job that periodically runs a stored procedure and also later test the lock status with APPLOCK_TEST(). Is it true that resource name used by sp_getapplock and APPLOCK_TEST() should be the name given to the SQL Job?
