Hello,

I have been asked to create a front end multiple choice exam which uses SQL database to store the student names, the different exams (4 in total), the questions and the possible answers (a, b, c, d, e).

Im fine with designing the actual front end of the product using Visual Basic, but i am very inexperienced in SQL.

Would anybody be able to help with tutorials or examples?

Thanks in advance.

one of ways of designinging db would be

Students(StudentID,StudentName,...)
Exams(ExamID,ExamDesc,...)
Questions(QuestionID,QuestionDesc,...)
Answers(AnswerID,AnswerDesc,...)

ExamQuestions(ExamID,QuestionID,AnswerID) - contains one record each for each choice of question and answer
for an exam

StudentExams(StudentID,ExamID)- contains details of exams taken by student
