| A few options1 Create a linked server (preferably on the destination) and do a insert.2 Use DTS3 BCP the data out to a file, copy the file and bcp it in.For a once off I would try 2If you want to do it regularly and don't mind impact on the source server and have a good and fast connection then 2 or 1Otherwise 3 which means you don't need both servers on-line and each can control when it does it's processing.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
