Hi,I am setting up database mirroring between servers. When I clicked start mirroring, I received following error:"The server network address "tcp://xxxx.xxx.com:5022" canot be reached or does not exist. Check the netork addres name and that the ports for the local and remote endpoints are operation. (microsoft sql server error: 1418)". Any help? Thanks |

Make sure that TCP/IP and Named Pipes are enabled on both the mirror principal and the partner. Also make sure the SQL Browser service is running on both. Also check your firewalls are allowing port 5022 through (especially Windows firewall if it's enabled). |
