what do you mean by olap? do you mean relational olap db or multidimensional cube?

i mean,

i have simple query in DMV

SELECT [CATALOG_NAME] AS [DATABASE],CUBE_CAPTION AS [CUBE/PERSPECTIVE],BASE_CUBE_NAME
FROM $system.MDSchema_Cubes
WHERE CUBE_SOURCE=1

i want to put the result in relational sql table

use either of
insert...select or select...into table....
syntaxes

depending on whether table is alreadypresent or not

how is query of olap run on sql session?
