| I set up database mail but when sending a message I get Mail queued. but I don't get the email -- what could be wrong here?I copied the stored procedure for sending mail from another machine it was working and set up the account in database mail but I get no errors - it just says Mail queued and I don't get the email |

| i checked further and it's getting the following error in the mail logThe mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 1 (2012-08-27T07:34:35). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions [ip here]). ) |
