| I am using SQL server express 2005 as back end and MS access 2007 Project as Fron End.My problem is I could not add new data to table I imported from MS access.mdb to sql server express 2005. When I open sql server tabel via MS access project is said it is read only.Thanks for all your helps in advance |

| For you to be able to modify data stored in SQL Server tables from an Access front end (I am assuming you are viewing them as linked tables and trying to modify the data from Access), it is required that the tables/views have a primary key or a unique index. Check your SQL tables to see if you have PKs or unique indexes, and if not, you would need to create primary keys or unique indexes for each table that you want to modify. |
