| Hi all, when am trying to update a column in a table (million of records/all records) it was processing for a while at one point of time i decided to stop the execution of statement. I found that some records are updated with newly updated records some as same.I want to know how update happend for some records ?(I was thinking that the update will not happen if we stop in middle, correct me if am wrong)and can anyone explain me how update works based on sql server internals Note: its a single update am not used any explicit or implicit transaction. Thanks in advance |
