Hello,

I'll be running SQL Server 2008 in order to provide data to three applications - claims management, SAP BusinessObjects 3.1, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.

For the claims management and SAP BusinessObject databases, current size is under 1GB. For Dynamics GP, current size (data and transaction) is just under 1GB. However, we'll be upgrading to GP2010R2 in the next 90 days.

Storage wise, can I use (2) 300GB 10k RPM drives in a RAID 1 configuration without having to worry about lack of space?

Thanks

It never depends, how much data you have, it depends At really which pace data is increasing. So try to calculate your data volume increase rate and then it will be easy for you to guess proper storage for future.
