In Oracle we have

Data block: smallest logical unit of storage
Extents : collection of blocks
Segment: collection of extents
table space : collection of segments


Equivalently what we have in SQL Server

Page
Extent
.
.
.

Before coming here I went through this web, didn't read it closely. Now I understand that SQL Server do not have Segments.

however one more question what is the equivalent of tablespace then..?

Filegroups are the closest equivalent to Oracle tablespaces.
