Dear All,

I have installed Sql server 2008 R2 setup "SQLEXPR_x64_ENU" on my windows server 2008 R2.
After that I have downloaded the setup "SQLServer2008R2SP1-KB2528583-x64-ENU" for update the Sql server 2008 R2 to SP1.
When I running this setup I am able to select the features. All are disable. It's not allowing to select.

Actually When I am selecting those features I am seeing in description as,

"The version of SQL Server instance MSSQLSERVER does not match the version expected by the SQL Server update. The installed SQL Server product version is 10.52.4000.0, and the expected SQL Server version is 10.50.1600.1."

Why this is happening ? How to resolve this issue ?

Looks like you already have SP2 Installed.
