Data root directory System database directory User database directory User database log directory I have a SQL Server with a RAID 1 partition (OS) and a RAID 10 partition. Database size is 150MB and potentially a section database of 750MB. Six or so users maximum at any given time. My thinking was to change the user database directory, which I believe contains the actual data files for my database(s), to the RAID 10 partition. Then I would leave the other directories on the RAID 1 partition (along with the OS). Is that a good setup or no?
