I am using simple restore on the test environment with a Backup file copied across from the Production Server. All these days were ok but now it fails to grab when the file from its local directory on the test server. The Error is "NOT RESPONDING" after the file is accepted from its directory.can anyone deduce this phenomenon. |

Either the bak file is too large or the file might have been corrupted in this case. |

Thanks for your reply though waiting so long this thread here without any reply.Meanwhile I have got it sorted it out as it nothing to do with BAK file is large or Corrupted file. The Server is over pushed in its activity and after releasing the memory got it worked.Anyway thanks. |
