| Hello.I'm really stuck. On the weekend, Microsoft Windows updates were applied to our server. This morning, I was able to log into our SQL Server instances and databases, but I was horified to see that SQL Server Configuration Manager (SSCM) no longer lists all the services under the SQL Server Services node. Instead, I see an error message "The remote procedure call failed. [0x800706be]" I can't get any info on the error and am left baffled.What should I do to get all the services listed again in SSCM?We are running Windows Server 2008 Standard with SP2, with SQL Server 2008 Standard.Cheers-------------------Rupertsland,Canada |

Hi Tara.Thanks for your help. I've spoken with our IT guys. They attempted a reinstall, but that failed. They are now on the phone with Microsoft trying to resolve the problem.Cheers-------------------Rupertsland,Canada |
