To clear the transaction log, you need to back it up (If you are in Full or Bulk Logged recovery). But I'm not sure if that is what you are asking.-Chad |

im entering in sql server 2005 and sql server 2000 and doing some jobslike deleting tables , clearing data , creating user and delete user.now i want to clear all the logs that show my activity in two version of sql serveri want nobody know what im doing |

To evade detection you'd probably also have to do some manipulation of the default trace .. if it's turned on , which captures certain events. you'd probably also have to clear memory.There are other areas which need to be analysed if you wanted to evade forensic analysis.Jack Vamvas--------------------http://www.sqlserver-dba.com |
