Sir,I have to upload heavy database online.1st StepI have generated tables query and uploading . it takes lots of time but uploading rest.2nd StepI have convert data in to excel file into a certain format and calling that sheet to upload online. It takes long time still task not completed.3rd StepI have take backup MS Sql database as filename.bakand restore in MS SQL Server 2005. it is in shared server.as I choose from device---> select Path-->window appear as Specify backup--->> click Add Buttonbut it does not shows directory where i can select my backup file.so this process not completed.please guide me how can i upload heavy database online in minimum timeits very urgentplease helphttp://kiransoftech.com |

It should give you a dialog where you can browse to your backup file. If it doesn't, just script the restore rather than use the gui.-Chad |

Hello Chad,as I say That i am using Shared Server, window appears but a message box appears and says that for security reason we cannot show you drives.so window appears as a blank window.http://kiransoftech.com |

Looks like you need to talk to an Admin and have permissions granted so you can see the drives.-Chad |
