| Hi there,I have a backup bak file from a sql server 2008 R2 with version 10.50.1765 to be restored to a sql server 2008 with version 10.0.5500. I got error msg. Is there any other easy way to restore it without much efforts? Thanks in advance. |

| You cannot restore to a previous version -- in your case 2008 R2 to 2008. |
