so here's my issue, and hoping someone can help. our group just got on R2, and in doing so, we are all on BIDS 2008. My issue is this: when i preview a report, I have to save before I can see whatever changes I made. Obviously, this is a pain. I don't know which 'setting' to go to to change to make it to where if i add a calculated column for example, that I can preview the report w/out having to save it first. If i don't save it, and hit preview, it won't show whatever column I add/changed. Thanks! |

I don't think you can preview without saving. If you are using source control, this should be less of a concern. Also, BIDS has (unlimited levels of?) undo's. |
