Good morning folks,I'm new to SSRS and am having a hard time formatting a date field. When I run my report, the date field shows results like this:20130111So I need to format it. When I right click the field and select text properties/Number/Date and select "mm/dd/yyyy", I get "mm/dd/yyyy" in the report for every row instead of a properly formatted date. Can you please teach me how to format this field? |

the formatting works only if ase type of field is datetime. so your best bet is to bring it as date from database using CONVERT. then apply formatting in report and it should work fine------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/https://www.facebook.com/VmBlogs |
