SARAT writes "I have been using Sql Server for sometime now as a database for my software application. logged off once from Win NT to restart the system. After that it failed to start the SQL services. The error it shows is:

MSSQLServer: (While running the services)
An error 1069: (The service did not start due to logon failure. Failure occured while performing the service operation and MSSQL Service.

Enterprise Manager:
A connection could not be established to the server. General netwrk error. Check your network documentation.
ConnectionOpen (connect()).
Please verify SQL server is running and check your SQL server registration properties (by right-clicking on the server node) and try again.
